The sun was up. The wind was crisp.

It was a Saturday afternoon.

We met Alex, Sian and Jessica for the first time.

The three of them looked perfectly natural in front of our cameras and behind them were the perfect colors of this season we equally love.

Autumn.

They have picked an all-time favorite location, Wellington’s Botanical Garden. Seeing them for the first time brought an instant smile to our faces. They are such a lovely little family. Sian and Alex who have been together for close to a decade have been blessed with such a wonderful daughter, Jessica who is seven months new.  We felt so comfortable around them. They just made it incredibly easy for us to make these photographs and in the process, we made wonderful friends.

We were welcomed into their lives with such warmth.

We felt extremely grateful.

Sian and Alex, you have been really nice and meeting you that Saturday was an absolutely worthwhile experience. Thank you for spending an hour or so of your day with us and for allowing us to show a slice of your life through these.
