When Lauren sent us an e-mail form Australia asking if we can do a photo shoot of her and her family, we were stoked. When she said that she wants this to be her Christmas present to her folks, we almost melted.

Lauren is based in Gold Coast, her brother Neil, in Melbourne and their parents, John and Wendy, here in Wellington. It’s not so often that they get the chance to stand before a camera together with their photos being taken as a family.

The weather that day was far from perfect but nothing can stop us from making it happen. It should happen. Rain, wind or shine, we said! Amazingly though, the sun shone, right on time.

It was bound to happen.

To the Bailey family, it was nice to meet you. Thank you for letting us be part of a day that you are all together. It means an awful lot to us to be given that time and opportunity. Lauren, it seemed unreal how you found us but we are very glad that you did. We hope to see your name again when we open our inbox.
