ENGAGEMENT | KAITOKE PARK, UPPER HUTT

It’s perhaps the way they tease each other and often not take each other seriously that make them instantly endearing. Karol and Jaena have been together for seven years and on the day they marry each other is the day they celebrate their eighth.

One of their wedding sponsors asked us to do this shoot for them as her wedding gift for the couple.

We feel nothing but honored.

They started going out back when they were still both in universities. They went through a long distance love affair when Jaena left for New Zealand. That didn’t take long though. After about a year and four months, Karol followed. All because of that big four-letter word. LOVE. A month and a day from today, they will be exchanging their vows in a paradise called Aquatico Resort in the Philippines.

Though their personalities are not at all alike as Karol is more outgoing and Jaena is the more reserved one, they share heaps of interests in common. Anyone who knows them would agree that music and sports would be the top two.

Jaena and I have been planning their shoot by e-mails and phone calls. She said she wants the photos to reflect how they are as a couple. Meeko and I just couldn’t be happier to abide.
