ENGAGEMENT | EASTBOURNE, LOWER HUTT | LOWER HUTT

I challenged myself to find just one word to describe them. Fun would be an understatement. Bubbly, I thought would sound a bit corny so here’s what I got.

ADDICTIVE.

They requested for us not to post these photos until after their wedding and though we’re sad that their wedding’s over, we’re really happy that we can finally share these with you. With their consent 🙂

It was on a late Spring afternoon. There was even hardly any sunshine. But with them, it felt like a Summer day.

They were still based in Brisbane when they booked us. I remember we were driving on our way home from a shoot when I received an e-mail from their aunt, Annette (I love Aunt Annette!).We had another couple inquiring on the same date but there was something about that e-mail that made me feel connected right away. That was in May and it was not until November when we finally met them.

It took me less than a minute to fall in love.

They feared for this time to come. They were very honest to say that they were quite reluctant to do this. Unfortunately, we do not have any photo to show that. They were naturals. We absolutely loved how they looked at each other, how their hands were always where we wanted them to be, how they stand (oh those foot works!), how they smile when they are facing each other and how they close their eyes when we wished they would.

The following photos, they really made beautiful. Very lucky, we feel, that we were chosen to be there right in front with our cameras.

Kelly and Mike, you have no idea how grateful we are to have been graced with the chance to know you two. You were a breath of fresh air and we really, really enjoyed working with you. Even just being around you. You have said thank you so many times but really, that should come from us. You make us love what we do even more and you reminded us that being in love should be effortless. That it should be fun and that once in awhile there should be a “Rrrrrrr”.

We are very excited to show the world how beautiful your wedding was.
