And this is the most special and the most favourite. Of all.

Their hearts were both broken when they met. Both seemed to have a “fragile” sign stuck on their chests yet they exchanged smiles when they met for the first time at a friend’s party aboard a boat. Who would have thought that that smile could make things different, could mend their hearts, could bring some hope and could restore their faith in that thing called love?

As I watched my brother at the end of the aisle wait for his bride, my heart was running a thousand miles. It was so happy because in his eyes he was, too. The way he waited and stared at her reminded me when he was younger and how he would lay on the floor in front of the television and watch his favourite series, Cedie Ang Munting Prinsipe. Nothing could make him leave that spot when that series is on, not even his friends calling him from outside the house inviting him to play. Twenty-five years ago, that was perhaps the most important to him and on the 10th day of April, I watched him wait and stare and smile at what is now the most important in his life.

From then and forever.

Carlo and Udji, thank you a thousand times and over for wanting us to be the ones to keep these memories you’ve made. As we stood behind our cameras as the day unfolded, it made us realise what truly matter to you both — your families and friends. You made everyone felt valued and special. Their needs, you made them feel, come first than your own and I am sure everyone who was there and everyone who knows you would say the same — that you both are amazing and your love for each other, it’s nothing short of that. You made everything worth everyone’s while especially your families who travelled far. And your parents, I am sure they deem a real great honour that you chose to get married on the same day they did. You made the 10th day of April thrice as special.

Yesterday, I sent Udji a text and told her that when they wake up this morning, we will take them back to their 10th of April. We only hope these photos would.
