They have been together for seven years now, have been blessed with two beautiful boys and have finally decided to tie the knot.

They’ll wed next year and they’ll be our first couple for 2012.

The two hours we spent with this couple on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon was something we really won’t mind doing every week. We sincerely enjoyed every bit of it and they made every bit so easy for us. We hardly had to prompt them because they were very comfortable in front of our cameras and just being…..by each other.

And the following photos will show that there’s really nowhere else they’d rather be.

They’re both originally from Levin and only moved to Wellington about a year ago. When we asked them where they want their photos taken, Roimata said, we cannot not go to a beach. We later on found out that Roimata actually means “tear drop of the goddess of ocean”.

The following set of photos will show that an engagement shoot is not just about being all nice and sweet. For us, it is an experience to tell a piece of your story and show your personality as a couple which makes you different and special.

Here they are, perhaps not at their sweetest, but at their truest.

We found it truly amazing how we felt so at home with you two. You made it not only easy for us, but extremely fun too. People may compliment us for your photos but really, you both made them beautiful. More than the nice sunset or anything else, it was how you closed your eyes when you kissed or how you laughed from your heart that made them wonderful. So, thank you!
