Twenty-one months ago, she was in front of our cameras as one of the bridesmaids.

Who would have thought that twenty months after, she will be standing in front of our cameras once again, this time as the bride.

They have been waiting for this, we know. So, here’s to bring back the beauty seen, the joy felt, the laughter heard and the love that was all over on the day Rob and Tracy finally said their “I Do’s”

Each time I write a blog for a wedding, I literally close my eyes to remember how the day went, how the weather was like and how I felt on that day. I remember how stunning a bride Tracy has made especially after putting on that beautiful gown, I remember how her Dad, John, looked at her when he saw her first in that gown. It was, as if, love at first sight. I remember how doting Rob’s Mum was the whole time he prepared to be a groom and how she stopped and stared at him once in awhile feeling very proud that her son has scrubbed up looking very fine a man. If there’s one thing I remember most vividly though is when the music started playing and as Tracy started walking towards the aisle, how Rob tried so hard and I mean, so, so, so hard to keep his tears from falling. He tried so hard but in the end, he failed and I love how he failed.

So, yes, the day went perfectly, the kind of perfect that they deserved. The weather held up. There were dark grey clouds on the way and we feared that we might have to do the ceremony indoors but the sun just had to be there upon them. We felt extremely blessed to be there. Extremely grateful to have been part of it from the time Tracy was having her makeup done to their first dance as husband and wife. We felt in love to have witnessed such great love between them two.

Rob and Tracy, thank you for having us. It was truly a highlight of our life to have known you two and we really deem it an honour that you chose us to document your biggest and most special day. There are more where these came from. We hope you enjoyed looking at them and that they brought you back to that beautiful 24th day of November.

Stay in love with your wife, Rob. Thank you for failing to hold those tears. Tracy, I guarantee, you will fall in love with your husband all over again when you see that photo.

Much love, Meeko and Redge
