It was a day they waited for. Everyone waited for. Eleven years to be exact.

Their love has that strong foundation and everyone who knows them can vouch that no matter what life throws at them, they will surpass with hands held. Tight. This, I should know because Anna has been my friend for over a decade now and I am one of those fortunate ones to see how their love for each flourish even stronger through those years.

Their wedding is another one of those that are truly special to us. In 2012, Anna and Glen asked us to cover Glen’s Mum’s 70th birthday celebration and in 2013 we covered Anna’s little sister’s wedding. We also did a shoot for her grandparents to celebrate their love. I posted the photos in Facebook and called it “Love and Life Lines”. The faces here are very familiar to us and on this day, it almost felt like we are part of this family already.

They have waited very patiently for this and now it is with much joy that we finally share with you the first page of their story as husband and wife.

Anna and Glen, we hope you realise once more how special your wedding day was and how very fortunate you are to have so many beautiful people in your lives. It was, I am sure, everything you had hoped it would be and everything Nana Patricia had prayed for,

Thank you for choosing us to be the ones to document this day. As your friends, it truly was an honour. We look forward to what the future holds for you both and we join your families here in waiting for the time when you fly back to New Zealand from London on a one-way ticket.

We only had 20 minutes to spare for photos before the reception so we quickly drove to this spot. They realised they needed that moment of peace and quiet to let everything that just happened in. And in that time, this is what they made.
