When we arrived in Tarureka Estate, we went straight up to the room where Sam was. The Autumn sunlight streaming through the windows welcomed us. That and the broad smile of our bride. We thought, if these were hints of how the day would happen then this wedding will become one of our favourites. Easily.

And easily, it did.

More than the perfect golden light available to us all day, the delicate details that adorned the table and the amazing venue, the feel we got from being part of that day is what made this wedding to our favourites list. There was so much warmth among everyone present. Everyone was sincerely rejoicing with and for the couple. You can tell it with their eyes and their smiles. It was a genuine and strong celebration of love, not just between them two but among their families and to have been invited to document that day, truly, an honour.

Sam and Tui, thank you for allowing us document your first day as husband and wife. Your wedding was nothing short of perfect and we love how it truly represented the kind of couple that you are. Simple, relaxed, warm, honest and in love. We hope these memories we’ve framed for you will and will always take you back to that extremely glorious day in May and that each time you look at them, it will make you say, the ten years you spent waiting for this day to happen are truly worth it.
