There were two things we were worried about days leading to this wedding.

Time and rain.

Michael is in the NZ Army and during our phone meeting with Emily about a month before their wedding, she shared that Michael was only given 24 hours (exactly) of leave. He was to arrive an hour before the ceremony and was to leave approximately 22 hours later after that back to the camp. Our hearts broke into so many pieces. That was such a little time.

And then the rain. It was meant to pour that Saturday so we had rain options all lined up.

But the universe once again conspired.

Michael was granted 5 days of leave and no, the heavens didn’t send any rain over the hills of Wairarapa. Instead, a rainbow.

Emily and Michael, congratulations again. You two looked really happy that day you married each other. The cameras captured your hearts beaming with so much joy. God definitely made your wedding so special in so many ways. Your kind hearts and souls deserve nothing less, that’s why. Thank you for letting us play a part of it. It has been a pleasure knowing you, your families and friends.

We hope you find reasons, though apart, to always stay in love.
