It all started in 2013.
He moved down to Wellington in February to study. Two months later, she also moved to work. They met each other just five hours after she had landed. He noticed right away her kind heart, beautiful brown eyes and her most beautiful hands. She, on the other hand, noticed his big blue eyes and sweet smile. There was something (yes, right away) but neither of them acknowledged it. Well, not until one day when she noticed him playing pool by himself in the common area of where they lived. She did not know how to play pool and thought right there and then that she wanted to learn how.
Four years later, that girl who didn’t know how to play pool, learned to play pool and married that guy who taught her how.
And their wedding was everything they had imagined. They exchanged vows in the wee church within Cobblestone Museum in Greytown and hopped from one vineyard to another in Martinborough (Margrain Vineyard, Murdoch James & Tirohana Estate) with their closest family and friends aboard a bus (and them in a sleek, black, vintage Jaguar, of course) under the mighty sun. They were even able to squeeze in a trip to their favourite chocolate store.
Julie and Allan, you could not have chosen a more perfect day to get married. Thank you for letting us put into frames the love that there was on your wedding day. We hope these photos will remind you of how special it was. xo
