A month after she turned 18, he asked her if she could be his girlfriend. They have been together since then. That was ten years ago. They’ve done so many things, gone to so many places and made true so many dreams. Together. Ten years is a long time and she claims that she has been very patient. She’s always dreamt that one day he would ask her to marry him but there were times when she thought it may never ever happen. In 2011, they bought a house together. She had no idea that he had a plan all along — that in that house is where he will ask her the big question. On their 9^th anniversary, he got down on one knee and did. She must have cried an ocean that night. The happiest tears she’s ever had.

 Just over a month ago, they had a wonderful Wairarapa wedding. Under the most beautiful blue skies and the most glorious sun, they exchanged their vows before people they could not imagine life without. It was everything they had prayed and hoped for. It was that perfect that there were happy tears all over again.

Dear Nicole and Matt, on our way to cover a wedding this morning, Meeko asked if I can name the three nicest couples we’ve had the pleasure and honour of working with. No doubt you are among them. Honestly, covering a wedding is no joke and not as easy as it may seem. Sometimes we come home feeling as if we’ve worked three days in a row but you see, people like you make us forget how tiring it is. You make us feel everything is worth it. With you (and the rest of your crew), we felt home. So, thank you!!! Your wedding will be one we will remember very fondly. You have no idea how you’ve touched our hearts and souls just by being the kind of people you are.
