WELLINGTON ENGAGEMENT SESSION | JEANNET + NIXON

I just realized that I have known Meeko for a decade now. It has been a journey that cannot be described with just one adjective. I can say though that having known him made me feel richer as a person. The things he’s taught me, he’s made me experience and the daughter he’s given me make me feel so. Oh! And the people I met through him, his friends who have now become my friends. Those are the wealth he has given me.

Nixon. He is one of them. Nixon was one of Meeko’s friends I first met. They have known each other for nearly thirteen years now and went through some of life’s ups and downs together.  They even worked together down South which made their friendship even stronger. So, when Nixon asked him to do their pre-wedding session, Meeko said yes. In a heartbeat. And on one Saturday when the sun was in all its glory in the capital, Nixon and Jeannet stood before our cameras.

Happy and inlove.

Nixon and Jeannet met each other on Christmas day seven years ago in one of New Zealand’s historic places, the Christchurch Cathedral. Since then they have become part of each other’s every day and last year, on Nixon’s birthday, he proposed. He knew then that the search is over and “the one” he has found. There couldn’t be any gift more perfect than Jeannet’s YES. Soon, they will be leaving for Indonesia and on February next year, will finally tie the knot in South Borneo.

Nixon and Jeannet, we will be thinking of you on the 2nd of February. We wish you nothing but happiness on your wedding day and everything best in your life as a married couple. We will see you again when you come back and we are sure you will be twice as happy and inlove.

Much love, Meeko & Redge
